Eyelid Surgery

The surgery removes excess skin, muscle and fat from the eyelids. The operation can be performed on the upper and/or lower eyelid. In lower eyelid surgery, the incision is made transconjunctivally, i.e. without a visible skin incision. In most cases, however, the skin is tightened using a CO2 laser.
The operation can be performed on an outpatient basis under local or general anesthesia. The stitches are removed without leaving any residue after 1 week.
